-
How to protect my wallet?
NC Wallet is equipped with all the necessary measures to ensure top-level security: PIN codes, biometric and two-factor authentication. What’s more, users have additional options to control their wallets. For example, tracking active account sessions.
For more security information check the Security section in the NC Wallet settings menu. There you can also turn 2FA on and off, change your PIN, and enable biometrics for login or confirming transactions.
-
What is two-factor authentication (2FA) and how is it used in NC Wallet?
Two-factor authentication (2FA) is an additional layer of NC Wallet security. For safety reasons, 2FA confirmation is mandatory for
- Withdrawals;
- Managing the Allowed and Blocked IP List.
Apart from this, you can enable 2FA for
- Logins in your wallet;
- Confirming exchanges;
- Setting limits for withdrawal and exchange.
2FA Authenticators:
You can use different types of 2FA authenticators depending on your device and preferences:
- Google Authenticator;
- Apple Key Manager;
- Other two-factor authentication applications installed on your device (for example, Microsoft Authenticator, Samsung Authenticator);
- Telegram messenger.
Also, it’s possible to enable 2FA using different authenticators and use them in parallel.
Important notes on 2FA:
- You need to activate two-factor authentication during your first withdrawal if you have not already done so;
- For security reasons, we don't recommend synchronising your Google Authenticator with the Google account that you use to log into your NC Wallet;
- You can also switch to biometrics to sign in and confirm transactions, but you need to enable 2FA first;
- We highly recommend that you back up your 2FA security key. If you lose, change, or reset your current device/phone, you can use this security key to re-enable 2FA on another device; or import it to use with another authenticator on this device.

I am getting an error message: "Biometrics for this device could not be updated from this NC Wallet account"
This message may appear if you are accessing multiple NC Wallet accounts from one device using biometrics.
To fix the issue, use one of two options:
- 1. Log in to the NC Wallet account you used on this device first. This should help. If it does not, disable the biometrics and then re-enable it using the same account.
- 2. Uninstall the application and then reinstall it again.
-
Why is facial biometrics not available on my Android device?
Android considers its technology of facial recognition insecure for identity verification, so this biometric option is not available on Android devices. In this case, you can use a fingerprint sensor to log into your wallet and confirm transactions.
-
What are active sessions and what are they for?
Active Sessions is a section where you can see and control all the devices from which you are logged into your wallet. Each active session displays the device that was logged in, its IP address, the time it was last online, and the current status (online, logged in, offline, and so on).
You can end the session of any device from the list by clicking the X button to the right of it. In this case, it gets completely logged out of your account — in order to log in again, you need to sign in with your Google or Apple account, enter the PIN code, and go through two-factor authentication if it is enabled.
-
Can I change my email?
When creating a wallet, you use a Google or Apple account. Linking to mail allows you to provide additional security and safety of the wallet data, it is also used to enter NC Wallet. Therefore, you cannot change the email address used to create your wallet.
-
What is a User ID and what is it used for?
User ID is the unique identifier of the user's wallet. It allows the support team to easily identify each wallet and respond to any technical question that the user may have.
You can find and copy it in your profile settings. To do this, open the Settings menu and then Profile.

I’ve lost access to my two-factor authentication(2FA). How to reset it?
If you have lost access to your two-factor authentication and want to reset it, we need to be sure that you are the real wallet owner. Please send a request to our Support Team and be ready to answer some additional questions.
Your answers to the following questions will help us to identify that it is your account:
- 1. When did you create your NC Wallet account?
- 2. What email did you use for authorization?
- 3. From which IPs and devices did you access NC Wallet?
- 4. How many and which currencies do you have on your account?

Which blockchain network is used in NC Wallet for withdrawing and receiving cryptocurrency? Can I change it to another one?
For transactions with different cryptocurrencies, NC Wallet uses different blockchain networks. For some currencies, there are several blockchain networks available and for others, there is only one main network.
By default, each currency is transferred using its main (native) network:
- — BTC on Bitcoin;
- — ETH on Ethereum;
- — MATIC on Polygon;
- — SOL on Solana;
- — etc.
NC Wallet allows you to receive or send crypto not only to its native blockchain network but also to other networks supported by NC Wallet and available for this coin or token. For example, you can send or receive your USDT on Ethereum or Solana; your ETH or WETH (Wrapped Ether or WETH is ETH equivalent on Polygon) on Ethereum or Polygon, etc.
If you decide to change the blockchain network, double-check all the details before confirming the transaction.
-
How are the same currencies from different blockchain networks displayed on my balance?
The same currencies received from different blockchain networks are reflected in the account as one amount.
For example, you have 30 USDT on Solana in your wallet, then someone sends you 20 USDT on Polygon. On your NC Wallet balance, you will see a total sum of 50 USDT.
You also can send any amount from this sum to different blockchain networks. For example, 10 USDT to Ethereum and 40 USDT to Solana.
