How do I turn on/turn off biometric authentication?
You can use biometrics on your mobile device:
- Instead of PIN to sign into your wallet;
- Instead of two-factor authentication (2FA) to confirm withdrawals, exchanges, etc.
Important: You must enable 2FA first, then switch to biometrics. Learn more about enabling 2FA (with Google Authenticator, with Apple Passwords, with Telegram);
To enable biometrics:
- On the NC Wallet main screen, tap three lines
;
- Select Security > Biometrics & PIN;
- Toggle the PIN or 2FA switch to the right to enable biometrics for that option;
- Confirm the action with the 2FA code.
To disable biometrics:
Follow the same steps, then toggle the switches to the off position.
Important: for security reasons, biometric facial recognition cannot be used for identity verification on Android devices. In this case, you can use other biometric options, for example, fingerprints.
