How do I turn on 2-factor authentication (2FA) using Apple Passwords?

This instruction only applies to iOS version 15 and later. If you have an earlier version, use the instructions to enable 2FA with Google Authenticator.

1. Enabling 2FA from the NC Wallet App:

      1.1. On the NC Wallet main screen, tap three lines ;
      1.2. Select Security;
      1.3. Select Two-factor authentication;
      1.4. Tap Enable 2FA;
      1.5. Tap Apple Passwords;
      1.6. You will see a 2FA security key in the orange box. Tap the Copy icon to copy it. If you want to use a QR code to enable 2FA, continue to section 2.6;
      1.7. Tap Open Authenticator and enter a passcode if it’s required;
      1.8. For iOS 15-17, tap Cancel. For iOS 18 and later, continue to the next step;
      1.9. Tap on the plus icon in the upper right corner;
      1.10. On the appearing screen fill in the following fields:
        - In the Website field, enter ncwallet.net;
        - Fill in the Username and Password field;
      1.11. Tap Save/Done. For iOS 18 and later, continue to step 1.15. For iOS 15-17, continue to step 1.12;
      1.12. Tap Set Up Verification Code;
      1.13. Choose Enter Setup Key;
      1.14. Paste the copied 2FA security key in the appearing window (or you can type it manually) and tap OK;
      1.15. Now you will see the Verification Code — tap to copy it. The code changes every 30 seconds!
      1.16. Return to NC Wallet, tap Enable 2FA;
      1.17. Enter the copied Verification Code in the appearing window;
      1.18. That is all! Now your wallet is protected with 2FA!

2. Enabling 2FA with QR code:

      2.1. On the NC Wallet main screen, tap three lines ;
      2.2. Select Security;
      2.3. Select Two-factor authentication;
      2.4. Select Enable 2FA;
      2.5. Select Apple Passwords or Google Authenticator;
      2.6. Tap the QR code button . You will see the necessary code — do not close it;
      2.7. Scan the QR Code with the camera of the device you want to use for 2FA and continue to steps 1.8 from the previous section.

To enable 2FA, you can also use Telegram, Google Authenticator, or other 2FA authenticators available on your device.
