How do I turn on two-factor authentication (2FA) using Google Authenticator?

Step 1: Install Google Authenticator

Download the Google Authenticator app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. You may also use a browser extension. We recommend reviewing the app’s instructions before proceeding.

      1. Open NC Wallet;
      2. Tap three lines > Security;
      3. Under Two-factor authentication, select Authenticator and tap Continue (if prompted);

Step 2: Save setup key

      1. On the 2FA setup screen, either tap the QR-code icon or copy the setup key;
      2. Open Google Authenticator and tap Add a code. Tap to Scan a QR code or Enter a setup key;
      3. If you Scan a QR code, continue to Step 3.
      4. If you Enter a setup key, name your account, and paste the setup key into the Your key field;
      5. Tap Add to complete the setup.

Note: Back up your setup key for additional security reasons!

Step 3: Verify with code

      1. Google Authenticator will generate a 6-digit code — copy this code;
      2. Return to the NC Wallet 2FA via authenticator screen and paste the code to verify 2FA.

Once verified, 2FA will be successfully activated on your NC Wallet account.

You can also use Telegram or other authenticator apps available on your device for 2FA setup.
