Why do addresses look different in different networks?

Every blockchain network has its own address format.

— Always choose the right network before sending or receiving crypto. The "right network" means the same network your sender or receiver is using. If you choose the wrong network, the transaction cannot be reversed.

— If someone gives you an address to send to — always check the source. Never copy an address from random places online:

• Check that all characters in the address match.
• Use QR codes when available — they are safer than copying text.

— Always check which network the address belongs to — the transaction on blockchain cannot be reversed.

What to check before sending:

• Where are you sending? (receiver's address)
• What crypto? (BTC, ETH, USDC?)
• Which network? (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana?)
• Does the network in your wallet match the receiver's network?
