What is identity verification? When is it required?
NC Wallet doesn’t require users to be verified when creating an account. However, to comply with the regulations, including but not limited to Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML), identity verification is:
Mandatory for all NC Wallet users:
- When purchasing cryptocurrencies with fiat (debit/credit cards, etc) money. These services and verification are provided by a third-party service provider.
May be required:
- In case of suspicious activity or transactions in your account;
- When your account balance or turnover reaches a certain amount (it may vary depending on your country of residence).
If verification is needed for your account, you’ll recieve a notification in the app or a request from our support team. In such a case, you will need to provide personal information and upload certain documents (scans or photos) in the NC Wallet app interface. Your account access will be temporarily limited until verification is completed.
