Why can't I add, delete, or manage my passkey?

There can be several reasons:

  • You are trying to create, delete, or manage passkeys from the Telegram mini app or a browser extension and no other security features (2FA or biometrics) are enabled on your account. Please use the mobile or web app in this case.
  • Your current device may not support passkeys and no other security features (2FA or biometrics) are enabled on your account. If you already created a passkey on another device, use it to manage the settings. To create a new passkey, try another device and check the device requirements.
